Emergency Medical Responder Recertification (BLS)
Red Cross recertification for those providing emergency response: firefighters, law-enforcement officers, emergency medical services personnel, and workplace responders. Meets the Paramedic Association of Canada National Occupational Competency Profile for the practitioner level of emergency medical responder (EMR).
WE ARE ABLE TO RE-CERTIFY ONLY UNEXPIRED CERTIFICATIONS. WE WILL NOT REFUND THOSE WHO REGISTER AND ARE UNABLE TO SHOW A VALID, UNEXPIRED CERTIFICATION.
Course Duration: Approximately 40 hours
Prerequisite: EMR Certification: (unexpired card must be shown on first day of course)
- Successfully demonstrate the required skills
- Minimum 75% mark for written, closed book, knowledge evaluation
- Successfully complete two evaluated scenarios (one medical and one trauma)
- Attend and participate in 100% of the course
3-year certification in Emergency Medical Responder (digital certificate issued upon successful completion)
